Our campuses are located in the heart of the Sydney and Adelaide CBDs and are easily accessible by public transport. Our facilities are fully air- conditioned and our classrooms are spacious providing a relaxed atmosphere encouraging student study. Each campus contain a fully equipped learning environment consisting of modern computer labs and libraries to supplement IIBIT's delivery of teaching.
IIBIT bolsters your learning experience by delivering courses with experienced and qualified lecturers, alongside practical tutorial sessions. Generally there will be 2 to 3 hours of lectures and 1 to 2 hours of tutorials per unit on a weekly basis. Lecturers and tutors are readily approachable outside of class times to assist students with their academic work by e-mail. Our teaching method allows the students to reach their full potential.
IIBIT also conducts seminars from time to time on special subjects
Assessment methods vary from unit to unit and will be mentioned in the unit description, which will be given to the students in the first lecture. Normally each unit will have 3 to 4 assessments per unit in the form of practical, written, oral presentation and final examinations.
Our study environment consists of spacious classrooms with modern Audio/Visual equipment in each lecture hall. Lectures and Tutorial rooms have sufficient capacity to run classes without being too congested.
IIBIT has computer labs equipped with high speed internet and modern computers complete with the software required for the courses delivered on campus. Printing facilities are also provided in each campus for students to prepare their study materials.
IIBIT is fully equipped with the areas like the student lounge and study rooms that are available to all students. These include kitchen facilities and areas for students to socialize and relax outside of study time. The common room also has a pay phone facility.
